Adding Value Through Engineering and Quality.

SUND manages projects from design through to mass-manufacture and delivery. With involvement right throughout the project lifecycle, quality management is absolutely crucial to ourselves and our customers.

The bedrock of SUND’s quality control is based in tying the two strands of engineering and manufacture together: a large quantity of SUND’s manufacture is based in China and our in-house team of engineers, Chinese and European alike, make sure they are fully aware of the individual capabilities of every supplier.

We allocate a single-point of contact engineer to a manufacturing project from day one, making sure customer requirements are understood by the supplier and are achievable.

This hands on approach is supported throughout the entire procurement and manufacturing cycle by a full TQM (Total Quality Management) process.

ISO-certification

Upon customers’ request Sund Sourcing will provide quotations only from ISO-certified suppliers. Normally, large scale manufacturers are ISO 9000 or 9001 certified. ISO-certification is not so common among small and medium sized factories which is where the hands on involvement of Sund’s in-house quality team works in tandem with the supplier to ensure customer quality requirements are met.

Total Quality Management

Sund Sourcing applies a Total Quality Management philosophy to help minimise problems right from the outset of a project. We make sure to spend enough time upfront on communication of quality requirements with both the supplier and customer in the start of every project. Our philosophy is to find the problems before they happen. We believe quality is not a matter of cost, but a matter of attitude.
