TRANSLATION SERVICE

Sund has a long established pedigree in providing specialist translation from English to business level Putonghua.

When providing translation services we make a point of using our own in-house team of native Putonghua (Mandarin) speakers, all of whom have a strong background in business.

Our translators have backgrounds ranging from sales and marketing through to contracts negotation and engineering. From this wide range of experience we choose the person with the correct skill-set for each project and give them a remit to translate with the correct business emphasis in mind.

For example, rather than a verbatim translation you may want your translator to focus on carrying a crucial message in your marketing material. Similarly, for a contract, the most vital factor may be for your translation to use the correct legal Chinese nomenclature for a given business sector. Of course, if you need a straight-forward translation then we can do that as well.

Whether you need generalist or specialist translation all of your requirements will be clearly outlined before a project begins.

Price

Translation is one of many services that we offer as a company and because of these economies-of-scale we are able to offer a very cost-effective rate.

• Standard Rate: £0.70/word (ex VAT)
• Minimum Order: 1,000 words. All translations under 1,000 words charged at £70 (ex VAT)
• For large projects please contact us for a bespoke quotation (pricing much reduced for more extensive requirements)
• Overnight translations available on request

All of our translators have at least 3 years experience in their given field of business expertise, are native Putonghua speakers and are educated to degree level with English CET Level 5 qualifications.
